Hi all, I am a web developer by day and Im always looking at Google Labs for new widgets etc to enhance my custom websites... Anyhow, I came across google sites-- *First off its free*. Second there are premade templates or you can create/customize your own. Its really easy and they give you a domain name/ host it and there are tons of widgets -- so you can have a "search" button to search your website. There are other widgets you can use to leverage their technology such as adding meta tags to get your website to show up in search results. You can add advertising to your site and make money. You can invite people to your site. If you have an existing domain you can still use this. You can insert calendars, maps, spreadsheets...videos, Picasa slideshows. Its pretty powerful and its free...Sort of makes me freak out about how easy it is for a layman to have all these tools....if you want to know the truth! http://www.google.com/sites/help/intl/en/overview.html Anyway, you all are so generous in sharing your knowledge-- I just wanted to share... -Lainee
